Factory Outlet Shoes & Boots have been providing footwear to Hardin and surrounding counties since the 1960s. Our first location was downtown Elizabethtown, close to the old courthouse. As our family business and our customer base grew, we decided to move into a larger building. Since 1989, we have been in our current location next to Peddler’s Mall in Elizabethtown.

Factory Outlet Shoes & Boots has always been a family-owned business. The store was originally started and owned by Robert Stanfield, along with another private owner. Larry Marshall bought the store in 2005 and operated it until Michael and Shannon Howard purchased it in 2018. Michael has worked in the business for nearly 35 years, starting initially working for his uncle Robert Stanfield. Michael and his wife Shannon are the next generation of family owners. The store was built on providing quality shoes for men, women and children and has grown into providing all types of work related shoes and boots for men, women.

With the growth of the manufacturing industry jobs in Elizabethtown and surrounding areas, Factory Outlet Shoes & Boots has also grown in the brands and types of workbooks available. We offer one of the largest selections of safety footwear in the area. We are also able to special order and provide services you won’t get from just ordering online. Our prices are normally at or below online prices, too.
